1. Define Material, Construction and Use
State the fiber and yarn grade, any required brand, weave, finished width, thickness, tolerances and intended assembly. Include the applicable product standard and drawing revision. “Heavy duty” or “mil-spec” alone does not identify a measurable requirement.
2. Specify Color, Artwork and Finish
Provide a physical color reference or defined color system, plus artwork, repeat length and placement for a logo or pattern. Identify the dye/printing route only when it is a requirement; otherwise ask the factory to propose a construction. Specify coatings, weathering, flame, infrared or chemical requirements with their relevant methods and acceptance limits.
3. Agree Tests and Documentation
Separate raw-webbing results from complete-product qualification. Decide the method and revision, conditioning, specimen/lot sampling and pass/fail rule. Where GRS or OEKO-TEX documentation is required, confirm the exact article scope and order documentation before production.
4. Approve the Sample
Check dimensions, hand feel, color/logo, mating hardware and the required evidence. Label the approved sample or specification version. A visual sample is not a substitute for a mechanical or chemical test where one is required.
5. Confirm the Custom Order
Our custom MOQ is 3,000 meters. Confirm how colors, widths and construction variants are allocated in the quotation. Stock availability, sampling arrangements and finished-product quantities are assessed separately. Do not assume a printed logo or a high-performance fiber automatically has a different published minimum.
6. Schedule Production and Delivery
The standard production period is 15 days after specification and sample approval. Development, external testing where required, buyer approval and transport need separate scheduling. Record packing, roll lengths, labeling, shipping terms and required shipment documents in the order.
